Supernatural has been officially renewed for a 13th Season on The CW, more info coming after the conclusion of Season 12. 13 season of the show can go to release in 2018, the exact date of the premiere, if any, will become known later.
Supernatural Plot
Remember that the focus of evil spirits are hunters - Winchester brothers. Sam and Dean for years struggled with evil spirits along the way to save the world from a variety of threats. In 11 seasons they had to reconcile God with his sister - Amara. At the end of the season they have managed to restore the balance and save the universe.
Besides Amara resurrected Sam and Dean's mother - Mary, who died many years ago. This will give the fans a lot of exciting moments and new plot moves writers.
What do we expect from the season 13? It remains to be seen.
Supernatural: The Animation
In June 2010, Warner Brothers announced the production of an Anime OVA series to be Supernatural. Produced by the well-known Japanese animation studio Madhouse. The 22 episodes offer both new episodes with their own plot, as well as retelling the first two Realserienstaffeln and an implementation of a Comicvorlage.
The series was released in 2011 on DVD and Blu-ray in Japan. In addition to synchronized versions in Japanese and English, it contains English subtitles. During the English synchronization Sam Winchester was spoken by Jared Padalecki. Jensen Ackles took his role as Dean but only in two episodes, which was otherwise synchronized by Andrew Farrar.
