About TV show One Day at a Time season 3
For Penelope Alvarez (Justina Machado) begins a whole new life as she gives up her job as an army nurse and leaves her alcoholic husband (James Martínez). Together with her mother Lydia (Rita Moreno) and her two children Elena (Isabella Gómez) and Alex (Marcel Ruiz) she moves to a new apartment and works in the practice of Dr. med. Leslie Berkowitz. But that's not all. It does not take long and Penelope falls in love and embarks on a new relationship. Her daughter has recently come to terms with boys - but has to learn quickly that she is actually more on women. Until she finds the right way to tell her family about it, she has to make friends with the new situation. Her brother Alex, however, deals with the roots of his family and speaks with his grandmother much about Cuba and Fidel Castro's dictatorship.
