About TV show Supergirl season 3
At the age of twelve, Kara Zor-El - like her cousin, the later Superman Kal-el - was sent by her parents in a space encapsulation towards Earth in the destruction of her home planet Krypton. In the meantime, however, she falls into the ominous phantom zone, so that she arrives on the planet only a few years later, where she grows well, but always grows up in the shadow of her adoptive sister Alex, at the Danvers. Twelve years later Kara (Melissa Benoist) works as an assistant to the influential media entrepreneur Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) in National City. So far, she has kept secret her supernatural powers, which have developed quite similar to her famous cousin. But when it comes to a serious misfortune, she decides to use it openly for the good. Supported by Alex (Chyler Leigh) and photographer James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks), she begins to accept her abilities more and more to protect mankind from earthly and alien threats.
