About TV show Mozart in the Jungle season 4
The events behind the curtain of a great symphony orchestra can be even more dramatic than the actual performance on stage. Sex and drugs are not only rock'n'roll, but also behind the scenes of classical music. The orchestra of the New York Philharmonic will undergo some drastic changes when their chief mate Thomas (Malcolm McDowell) decides and shortly afterwards his upcoming successor Rodrigo (Gael Garcia Bernal) is greeted by the ranks of the musicians. This is not only distinguished by its predecessor by its exotic origin. Rodrigo is regarded as a rock star of classical music, and the upheavals ensure a proper firing. While many can not escape the charm of the young conductor, Thomas is anything but enthusiastic about the latest developments.
Mozart in the Jungle is an American television series. The series is based on the memoirs Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs, and Classical Music by the American oboist Blair Tindall, in which the author has written down her experiences with the New York Philharmonic.
