The Longmire writers had better do something about getting Walt and Vic together. They really screwed up in season 4 by having Walt totally IGNORE Vic's devotion and romantic interest and having him chase after the "wrinkled blonde." Read the books if you want to know the REAL Walt Longmire!

Wrinkled blonde? She has less wrinkles than Walt does! What a horrible thing to say! Vick is CHILD. Walt wants a WOMAN. The show DOES NOT FOLLOW THE BOOKS in case you haven't noticed! Lucian has two legs, Vick is a blonde not a brunette, Walt's wife is murdered - didn't die of cancer. Very little follows the books.

I love the show where I live we have casinos owned by our tribes in spokane and Idaho. It would be interesting to know more how the casinos have inpacked the lives of all of the people on the reservations. I would like to see longmire and his deputy get together . I have never done a series but this is so good I can't wait to see what comes next

Longmire is a terrific series. Indeed, it is my favorite TV series in at least 20 years. A friend rec'd it to me and my wife and I watched all 4 seasons in about 10 days. I wish I had "saved" a few for later.
I like Longmire because it has a bit of "Western" in it, but is set in modern times in a rural setting; and honesty is what rules Longmire himself but is lacking in "real" America. His values are alluring and endearing, although I wish he would "get some."!! Also, the interaction with the Indian Nation is realistic thought-provoking and educational.

I was first made aware of the Longmire series by a friend who thought I would enjoy it. From both the story line and the acting, this series has been one of the very BEST made-for-TV shows I've ever had the good fortune to watch. As an older viewer, the first thing I had to get through was that the Robert Taylor I knew many years ago is not the Robert Taylor of Longmire; It became a non-issue after about the 2nd or 3rd hour... Very well cast. The characters are all very interesting in their own rights, with Lou Diamond Philips exquisitely playing what appears to be a very demanding role. I was really disappointed at the way we were all left hanging onto our seats during the last episode (in which Walt and his new love interest were attempting to take some well-deserved time for themselves at his ranch), when there was a perceived threat coming at them without invitation through the front door. Did they have time to gather themselves? Was it an actual life-threatening situation, or was one of the deputies coming to help him feed his horses? Speculation runs high at a time like this, huh: Too many negatives not to explore further.
I'm not given to write in to a producer regarding a TV series, but this is one of the truly exceptional programs, and I am surely not alone in thinking that I'd like to be among those who want to see MUCH more of the Longmire series... ten or twelve more seasons might be enough, but I'll let you know as we get closer to season 15...

outstanding show . We live in the Midwest and hear about similar issues on a daily basis. we didn't know about the show till last summer and watched the first 4 seasons non-stop... couldn't believe it was over and we have to wait so long for another season. They should film nonstop as far as my husband and I are concerned.
Can't say enough great things about it.

Please keep the integrity in the show as it is. Vic is Walt's deputy, the dynamics between the two as it is now is better than having them hook up.
How many programs in the past have been ruined because the two lead actors hooked up???

Longmire is a sheriff trying to right the wrongs of Absoroka county. He's honest, loyal, silent, learning to be more up to date with the times. He does the right thing even it sometimes it's done in an unconventional manner.
The other characters in the show are equally compelling.
I am looking forward to the next season. Hope the wait isn't too long!

My husband and I have waited with great anticipation for the next season
of "Longmire". We need closure for Walt, his crew and friends. Maybe when it is aired again and the findings are good for Netflix that the show is so well appreciated by fans, that more seasons will be put together. It is a wonderful story with great characters which puts so many insipid and tasteless shows on regular TV. stations to shame. Come on, Netflix!!!

The only show I watch regularly on Netflix. It is the best show on. I am particularly pleased with the way Native issues and people are portrayed. I really hope this show will be around for a long time. I believe it has the potential to rival the longevity of Gunsmoke.

One of the best shows on TV! Don't know why A&E cancelled it. Everyone i know who watches it can't wait for its return. Hopefully it will go on for more seasons than just season 5. Truly a GREAT SHOW! If you haven't stayed watching it yet, binge watch it from the beginning!

My whole family, grandchildren included, (ages 9, 11, & 16) love Longmire. We are looking forward to Season 5. I wish there were more episodes each season. It is a great show; love the western setting. The actors are great, and it keeps me in front of the TV! Just keep those episodes coming.

Great series Netflix has picked a winner. This is not your everyday American life or TV drama's set in the cities and Pop Culture. It is a good family show with not of alluring sex or vulgar language or with an agenda driven story. This is real American with the original real Americans and their lives as they unfold here in Oklahoma and other states where they live. It does not show the impact of successful Indians in all walks of life today and how they have contributed to the Nation as a whole. It does show the impact of those who still live on the Res and this is portrayed correctly in the obstacles and hardship of a life in between two worlds. Honoring their culture of the past and living in a world that seemingly honors nothing. They are a Great People and they deserve more credit for this is the home of the Brave.

im not a reader but having seen all four seasons i bet the books are awesome...i don't know the author but they must have some law enforcement background because the plots are so involved and the evidence is always sketchy until walt pulls it all together. that damn feather in the corpse was really out there...robert taylor has a complete grasp of longmire, his interpretation is always spot on and never wavers. with a part like this consistency is always crucial, i would love to believe he was really playing that piano...it sure seemed like it. don't know just what cady has done...pandoras box i guess... and henry...wow what a character, phillips was definitely the right choice. i love everything about it...especially the part where there are no commercials, YEAH! can't get enough, my wife thinks its an addiction...she is probably right, usually is... if so can't wait for my next fix!!!!

Lonmire is an intelligent, off-beat and compelling series. The Western setting reveals modern take on " Cowboys and indians" and does no hesitate to make compelling vignettes depicting the often tragic ( for either side) clash of
cultures. The interplay of individual and cultural elements requires a deft touch and the actors deliver their characters believably, with humor and dignity. Longmire has caught the attention of our family, who would rather be physically active, or reading. We relish the advent of season five!

I GREW UP WATCHING WESTERNS, AND STILL WATCH ALL THE OLD ONES ON TV, YOU JUST CANT FIND ACTORS MAKE WESTERNS ANYMORE, WHAT A SHAME. My husband and I have watched all 4 seasons since June....and are very disappointed that we finished the last episode tonight..Can't wait til season 5 starts...I have to tell you when my husband suggested watching this..I really wasn't interested the title didn't tell me it was something that I would be interested in. ..but you have covered all the basis... it has suspense, romance, morality, law, the great outdoors,and it seriously deals with many LIFE ISSUES...We just love the show and have told our friends and family

Favorite show on TV! So real and multiple plot twists. Can also watch with the family. The only reason I purchased Netflix was to watch Longmire! Combines western, but modern, drama, mystery, police work. Just an all around awesome show. Season 4 was the greatest. Can't wait for season 5.6.7.8..........

I was terribly upset when the show was cancelled, and overwhelmingly pleased when Netflix picked it up, and once again, ecstatic to learn they have season 5 scheduled in Sept! I look frequently to make sure I catch it as soon as it's available. I have to admit I will binge watch and then feel sad again not knowing if we will get a season 6, Please Netflix, please make more.

My family has been watching this show since its inception. Wonderful! Healthy for the whole family. It is not often, at all, that a television series portrays the modern American Indians and their strengths and weaknesses. The acting is the best on television. I have been WAITING and WAITING for Season 5 to show up! This series does not follow Craig Johnson's wonderful novels to the letter, but it does create a beautiful thing on its own. Cast could not be better. Robert Taylor IS Walt Longmire. Great video, scripts. Get on it, Netflix!

I am so disappointed that Bailey Chase and Gerald MacRaney are gone -both wonderful actors and they made their characters so real -but I know the show will continue to be great. A&E messed up big time, letting Longmire go in the first place. Those of us 60 and over outnumber kids vastly...and WE have money. Advertising on a show like Longmire would have PAID. Yet A&E continues to pander to a younger generation and underestimating the power of an older, wiser and more wealthy one. I'll drop A&E in a heartbeat, and subscribe to Netflix as long as they keep programming as varied and well done as is Longmire. A&E can keep the zombies.

I am a big fan of Longmire. Longmire is one of the best programs and am so grateful that Nerflex is continuing with season 5. I do hope Longmire will continue for many, many years. I renewed my subscription to Netflex just to watch Longmire.
I have been a fan of Lou Diamond Phillips for many years and am so glad to see him in such a superb show. Even though Longmire is a sheriff in a fictional Wyoming county, but in reality the programme is filmed in different areas of New Mexico, my home state.

I want to know for sure if Netflix is going to produce a season 6. Word is this will be the final season. Word is, as A&E said not reaching the right age group. Here we go again? I think it is a very good series, don't let us hanging. If it's renewed great but if it's canceled that would such! Henry is tied up in the desert and walls daughter is becoming one of the tribe members, will Walt loose is lawsuit to the man that wants his land and make it into a gulf course, and not to mention Vic's pregnant with who's baby, and ferguson's love life.
Don't cancel it is enjoyed by lots of people!

My husband and I love the show. We have noticed that in season 5 , where we're are catching up, there is the use of the word G**d**** in nearly every episode. Is this necessary ? For us it is sadly a big turn off. If there must be cussing, can you pick another word? Just putting it out there for future thought.

Started watching Heartland, then when that series ended, we started watching Longmire, 2 best shows on TV, it is not all about sex, drugs, who has the prettiest outfits! It's true American Honesty and Integrity, which TV needs to show way more of!! GOOD JOB NETFLIX!!!!

Adore it, lived this show out west. No American Cowboys or real native Americans left, at least Longmire attempts to portray both. Season 5 too dark, let's see a little more romance with the shrink. They have terrific on-screen chemistry and it's the only time Robert Taylor smiles!

I am raising two American Indians children we have watched this as a family period was very sad at the last season. We want more seasons of it series more. Please do not get rid of Lou Diamond Phillips please let the producers the actors the costume people everyone involved prop sets everyone this is an important and very valued series. I have had many people in my home watch this series. I have tried to respond to you I had Facebooked it people are interested. It starts out very slow that's why people get discouraged I have told them hang on it is the best show you have on Netflix as a series. This is one of the reasons I got Netflix. Very very disappointed when it was over

Longmire is a great modern Western mystery! The acting is first rate and the incredible plot twists keep you guessing. The incredible physical beauty of New Mexico also plays a part. Longmire has singlehandedly brought the Western to the 21st century. Colorful characters mixed with the incredible physical beauty of New Mexico bring "edge of your seat" drama to this series! Iconic Sheriff Longmire battles his personal demons along with the villains in Absaroka County. The storyline is a combination of rural America and Native American culture---both modern and ancient. What happens when even best friends cannot bridge this divide? The plot twists and dynamic storyline will keep you on the edge of your seat! I have already seen the latest season twice!! As in all great series, the characters, large and small, are welcomed back each year. I cannot imagine another fall without Walt Longmire, Cady, Vic, Ferg, Henry Standing Bear, Nighthorse, and Ruby. Is it true that Walt was born in the wrong century? I'll have to wait another year to find out!!

Dear Netflix, Thank you for picking up and continuing the Longmire series and telling the stories of rural Native American communities embedded in a compelling Western-mystery storyline. I write with hope that the series will continue on to Season 6 and beyond. Longmire accurately portrays the social issues happening in Native American communities today, using one tribe as an example for the universal issues occurring across our nation. It is the only mainstream series that seems to be displaying the challenges that Native Americans face. So I hope that the effort continues!

This is what good TV is all about. This is so well done, present day and with good characters and acting. I love this series. It reflects more about life as a human and the situations we can find our self in than most. Our actions , how we make decisions and our responsibility towards them is in this show.What better place than the present day frontier of Wyoming and the conflict that exists within what most might call a "cowboy and Indian " show? Great series and thank-you for its continuance.

I purchased the Longmire dvd series 1 thru 4 and have enjoyed them very much and looking forward to series 5 and 6, plus hopefully many more. Please inform me when series 5 and 6 will be available and all future episodes.
Longmire has a modern day version of the old western movies and I find the story to be very interesting seeing as how I can relate to the story being born and raised in Wyoming and come from a ranching family and I am a retired Wyoming lawman. There are many of us older people, men and women, that take a lot of pleasure and entertainment from having movies like Longmire......please keep the series alive.
