In the US series Casual, the bachelor Alex (Tommy Dewey), who together with his divorced sister Valerie (Michaela Watkins), raise their half-grown daughter Laura (Tara Lynne Barr) under a common roof. In doing so, the two support each other against life as a single fight, by persuading themselves to new dates.
Jason Reitman, director of "Juno", is the director of the two opening episodes of the first season. All the novels of the ten episodes are from the series creator Zander Lehmann.
