Since this was the beginning of organize crime they should continue the seasons up to modern day current events. What better way to combine the true story and facts in a collaborative chronology. Ex: The true characters of other gangster like Bumpy Johnson, Nicks Barnes, John Gotti, Paul Castellano etc etc past and present. They should have the connections from the tristate area, NY, NJ and CT. Not to exclude PA, MA to Nevada.

Boardwalk empire is up there with the best, if not the best. I cannot wait for the next series, it's a must. Will Nucky Thompson make a miraculous come back I hope so. The whole series is built around him. .

I just binge watched all 5 seasons. What a cliff hanger ending for a series finale! Nucky giving Eli a bag of money, Nucky being shot 3 times & revenue men telling him who they are. Tommy being tackled. There's so much more story! I see Nucky being saved, I don't see him being convicted like Al Capone for tax evasion. I see him & Eli going after Luciano and Lansky taking Atlantic City back. Bring the sho back! I I did better than the Sopranos! I was hooked from the beginning! Sopranos, I only watched one episode, they never hooked me.
