"American Crime Story" is an anthology series that deals with a different real criminal case each season.
The People V. O.J. Simpson: In 1994, when the body of waiter Ron Goldman and his acquaintance Nicole Brown were found one night in L.A.'s upscale Brentwood neighborhood, it's not long before Nicole's ex-husband, former professional footballer O.J. Simpson (Cuba Gooding Jr.), as the main suspect moves into the center of the investigation. After issuing a warrant and a spectacular attempt to escape, a sensational court-martial accompanied by the media finally ensues. On the one hand, prosecutors Marcia Clark (Sarah Paulson) and Christopher Darden (Sterling K. Brown) endeavor to corroborate the suspicion, while renowned lawyers Robert Kardashian (David Schwimmer), Robert Shapiro (John Travolta) and F Lee Bailey (Nathan Lane) on the other side does his utmost to obtain an acquittal of Simpson.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: The second season focuses on the 1997 murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace (Edgar Ramirez) by serial killer Andrew Cunanan (Darren Criss). Oscar winner Penelopé Cruz will embody Giannis sister Donatella.
