About TV show Cable Girls season 4
Cable Girls (original title: Las chicas del cable) is a Spanish drama series, produced by Netflix. The telephone operators was the first Spanish original series from Netflix.
In Spain in the 1920s, four different women are responsible for all sorts of upheavals in the balancing act between job and their private lives. When a telephone company opens its headquarters in the heart of downtown Madrid in 1928, a new era begins for many and hundreds of women compete as a so-called cable girl, but only a few are granted one of the coveted positions. The lucky ones include Lidia (Blanca Suárez), Marga (Nadia de Santiago), Carlota (Ana Fernández) and Ángeles (Maggie Civantos). The women come from different walks of life, but their everyday lives are largely determined by the same problems. In a male-dominated world, they must first find their place and assert themselves - the beginning seems to be made, because now they are working in a place that represents progress.
