About TV show Criminal Minds season 15
Criminal Minds is an American television series, which was first broadcast on 22 September 2005 by the broadcaster CBS. In the series, the work of the FBI in the field of operational case analysis is presented by the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU for short) for Quantico. The focus of the investigation is profiling and victimology. With a few exceptions, the consequences are self-contained. Criminal Minds is therefore a so-called procedural drama. In January 2019, the series was extended to a final 15th season, which will be produced directly after the 14th season and then aired in the TV season 2019/2020. The last season should contain ten episodes. Thus, the series will come to a total of 324 episodes.
The "Behavioral Analysis Unit" (BAU) is a special unit of the FBI, which tries to set up a perpetrator profile to clarify the case on the basis of this profile and to find the culprit. The work of the BAU, headquartered at the FBI headquarters in Quantico, Virginia, revolves around the perpetrators' psyche, not the act itself. The members of the BAU supported Aaron "Hotch" Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), Dr. med. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) and IT expert Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) investigate their peers and use their profiles to explore the motivations, goals and psyche of the perpetrators essential for the resolution of versatile cases.
