About TV show The Passage season 2
The Passage is told on two levels of time: In the present is the ten-year-old Amy Belafonte (Saniyya Sidney) at the center, which apparently has the special ability to communicate with so-called "virals" - fearsome monsters that were once human. In a second plot level, Amy reports the origins of the virals.
After her mother's death, Amy is taken out of the state care system by FBI agent Brad Wolgast (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) and is due to be brought to Colorado's Project Noah research facility. This government-funded, medical research facility is testing a new drug that releases mental health-while transforming it into murderous killing machines.
However, due to a tragic experience in his past, Wolgast can not carry out the assignment and starts an escape to Canada with Amy. The two refugees build a family relationship with each other. Throughout history, it becomes clear that Amy may indeed be the last possible salvation of humanity.
The Passage is an upcoming American drama television series based on the novel series of the same name by Justin Cronin. It was ordered to series on May 8, 2018, and is set to premiere on January 14, 2019.
