Plot & Details
We become witnesses of a sensual story which takes place in amazing San Francisco in 1970-s where young Minnie is in the very center of the narration. The girl, like the majority of teenagers, longs for love, some acceptance and tries to find sense of her own purpose in this sometimes pretty cruel world.
This story is her diary, in which the girl describes what happens to her including the complex but tender affair with a boyfriend of her own mother that Minnie starts, considering him the handsomest man residing in the entire world. What happens next is sharp and at the same time funny account of both artistic and sexual enlightenment of the young lady. No judgment.
Minnie is an outstandingly talented girl and so many things happen around her that she is willing to take in. The way the author has shown the girl can say much about his attitude to her.
Parents should keep in mind that the movie features R for numerous drug use, abundant drinking, nudity and dialogues with sexual content.
