If you are looking for a strategy game with a scenario that is as extraordinary as it is interesting, the just announced Neverdark could be just what you are looking for. It's set in a future ten years away when all of electricity and global communications suddenly fail. The Internet is dead, chaos and fighting dominate the streets of the world. This is the story foundation of the game.
At Neverdark, you take control of a group of survivors who roam the streets of such cities as Tokyo, Paris, and New York to not only defend themselves, but also fight for their existence. While this is a real-time strategy game, you can pause the action at any time to take your decisions in peace. In the harsh world of Neverdark, of course, there are always fights in which you have to be as tactical as possible with your specialists. In addition, you can bring certain factions on your side by clever moves.
