In August 2014, the developers already asked their fans what features they would like for a future Tropico. It was already clear that Tropico 6 will become reality.
The creators provide an overview of various game features of the upcoming title. For the first time, it will be possible to manage large groups of islands, build bridges and use new transport routes. Also, players can steal international wonders and monuments. Also the own palace can be adapted to the own taste. With election speeches, players can convince their subjects of themselves.
The players are once again in the role of El Presidente and can steer as a dreaded dictator or peaceable statesman, the political events in the island nation of Tropico. Players must lead their own banana republic through four eras, always facing the challenges of international politics while keeping an eye on the interests of their own people and their own wealth.
The game will be released for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March 29, 2019.
