About TV show The Big Bang Theory season 13
The Big Bang Theory is an American sitcom by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, broadcast since September 24, 2007 by the US television channel CBS.
The series is about the highly intelligent young physicists Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper, whose apartment in Pasadena is opposite the apartment of the pretty waitress Penny. The geek-like nature of the two scientists is contrasted by the naivety, but also the social competence or common sense of the neighbor, an initially stereotypical blonde. After some difficulties, she and Leonard become a couple.
The trio is complemented by the Jewish engineer Howard Wolowitz and the Indian astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali. The four friends have a great passion for comics, science fiction (especially Star Trek), computer and video games, paintball and visits to various conventions in costumes. Replenishment for these interests, they regularly get in the comic book store by Stuart Bloom. They are intensively involved with science and engineering and all work at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena.
Later in the series, Bernadette Maryann Rostenkowski, a microbiologist and Howard's later wife, and Amy Farrah Fowler, a neurobiologist and Sheldon's future wife, appear, while the initially peculiar social behavior of the scientists normalizes.
