Black Summer is an American web television zombie apocalypse drama series, created by Karl Schaefer and John Hyams.

The sun burns mercilessly into the country, an extreme drought leads to food shortages and the zombie population explodes - the Black Summer becomes a true apocalypse. In the midst of the inferno, a desperate mother (Jamie King) goes in search of her daughter. It has to overcome many obstacles and go through some disasters. Together with a small group of American refugees, she soon faces a difficult decision.
