Frontier is a Canadian historical drama series by Brad Peyton and Rob and Peter Blackie about the unscrupulous hunter and fur trader Declan Harp, who worked in the fur trade in North America in the 18th century. The first broadcast took place on 6 November 2016 at the Canadian Discovery Channel. On January 20, 2017, the first season outside Canada was released via the Netflix video-on-demand service. The second season also appeared on Netflix on November 24, 2017. In September 2017, the series was extended by a third season, which can be seen since 23 November 2018 at Netflix.
