A man finds out that all the myths about monsters - be it in English, European or Chinese stories - are true. Once upon a time these monsters populated the earth and for every beast there was a hero who fought against it. But suddenly they have disappeared from our world. In his research, he ends up in a parallel world where all these monsters are. And finally, he must realize that they are coming back to our earth where they could destroy everything. To stop them, new heroes are needed.
