Film adaptation of the sci-fi short story "The Color from Space" by H.P. Lovecraft. The focus is on the Gardner family, who are moving to a remote New England farm to escape the hustle and bustle of the 21st century. With the move and the construction of a new life they are already busy, but then a meteorite crashes on their property. This drills into the ground and around it suddenly the land takes on strange colors around the rocks. But that's not all: any form of life that comes into contact with the meteorite mutates ... so does the family members themselves.
