Developer: Andrew Shouldice
Platform: PC, XBox One
Plot & Details
Tunic is a video game of action and adventures in the purest Zelda style starring a little fox in a great world that we must travel in formulas that mix puzzles and platforms. This indie bet for PC and consoles proposes the player of Tunic to explore a desert full of spooky ruins, as well as fight against some terrible creatures present in this land since ancient times.
The develooper Andrew Shouldice has certainly gained some inspiration, especially from the first Zelda. His game builds on three basic pillars: exploration, struggle and the discovery of secrets. In addition, you will glide with the cute little fox in isometric view through nicely designed worlds. If necessary, you can switch to a slightly clearer top-down perspective during the fight.
The developer deliberately does not want to restrict the player's freedom of movement. Everyone should find out for themselves where he might just not go and prefer to take another path. In order not to lose too much progress in the case of one's own demise, statues should be regularly stored at checkpoints. With equipment and weapons that can be found throughout the game world, the player gradually improves the little hero's abilities.
